Each policy is a promise we keep.
Thirty days, no questions
Every alteration performed at Alts is guaranteed for 30 days from the pickup date shown on your receipt.
If something doesn't feel right, we make it right. Bring your garment back within 30 days, and our tailors will fine-tune your original alterations at no additional charge until the fit meets your expectations.
The guarantee covers rips, holes, tears, and mistakes directly caused by work performed by our team. It does not extend to general wear and tear of the garment unrelated to the alteration. After 30 days, responsibility for the garment returns to the client — though if you have a concern outside that window, reach out to us via phone or email and we'll do our best to find a solution. Nothing is touched without your approval
No alteration is ever performed without your explicit approval. Before any work begins, your garment is assessed and a full quote provided. Nothing is cut or altered until you have reviewed the scope of work and agreed to the pricing — whether your garment is brought into a studio, dropped off for a quote, or collected through our at-home fitting service.
If the scope of work changes at any point during the process, we will contact you before proceeding.
What you're quoted is what you pay
Transparent pricing is a commitment we take seriously. Every client receives a full written quote at their complimentary consultation, before work begins. To help set expectations before you book, estimated starting prices are published on our standard alterations and bridal alterations pages.
Your consultation quote is valid for three months after your fitting and reflects the complete cost of the alterations discussed — what you're quoted is what you pay. Rush fees, where they apply, are disclosed upfront and require your approval before your garment moves up the queue.
