Our Story
Alts was built on a simple belief: that tailoring deserved better - genuinely client-first, more transparent, and more consistent. What began in 2014 as a ninth-floor studio in Union Square has grown into a multi-studio concept spanning three states. Formerly known as Alteration Specialists, we evolved into Alts - a name that reflects the modern, service-driven standard we hold ourselves to every day. Recognized as New York's highest-rated tailor and named "Most Genius Tailor" by Vogue, we've been featured in Forbes, the Wall Street Journal, Harper's Bazaar, Brides, and more.
